Debate: Aesthetics vs. Function on the Web

The Columbus Webgrrls and the Central
Ohio Macromedia User Group invite you to an evening discussion debating the
age-old question of Aesthetics vs. Function.
1. Do aesthetics contribute to usability issues
or more often sacrifice them?
2. How much importance should be given to the amount of bandwidth a site
consumes? (Scale 1 - 5, 1 being least import, 5 being most important.)
3. Which should be given top priority in site building: cutting-edge aesthetic design or usable functionality?
These are the kinds of questions we
will debate at this special joint meeting of the Central Ohio Macromedia User
Group and the Columbus Webgrrls.
