Moving Ahead Communications works with companies on an hourly and per project basis. Our activities include:

Hourly rates vary, depending upon helpers / staffing available at the time of your free, no-obligation quote. Just ask.

Most of the time for starters, a budget is established (for example at $500) so that you can see what you think. At the week's end (or month's end, etc. - depending upon what we set up initially together), your company will receive via email attachment a list in Microsoft Excel or Word (or included in text in the body of the email) documenting results.

Projects below included help with copywriting, sales letters, reports, autoresponder series, article & press release writing & distribution services, ebook creation, event help and other marketing & writing, online and off.


We have found a combination approach works best. A brief call to see if the responder will accept a regular mailed brochure, a fax, email or other type deliverable yields a positive reply in over 75% of the calls that are answered. Follow-up contact with this targeted audience generally results in 1 -2 closed sales out of 4 good prospects per every 8 hours, depending upon the industry, with additional appointments, sales and follow up purchases afterwards. Real estate appointments have yielded a much higher return (1 appointment per hour).


Generally, 50% is needed up front to pay third party solutions / help who require payment at the time of service.

Average weekly procedures:

  • We e-mail or phone to discuss and obtain pre-approval for that week's plans at the beginning of the week.
  • Throughout the week we submit work items (ex: drafts, phone scripts, etc.) to you for approval, communications received from work contacts & any other items included in our project.
  • Open communications are encouraged at all times.
  • We email (& / or fax, or send via regular postal mail if you like) a progress report at the end of the week along with an invoice (for example, for $500 per week inclusive of all expenses). Since we pay our assistants, student helpers & interns here promptly on Fridays, payment is generally due within 24 hours (via Paypal- accepts bank accounts, MC / VISA - is preferable, low fees). However, we are very open to discussing other arrangements.
